Romans d'Isonzo (, (スロベニア語:Romanž na Soči)) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Gorizia in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about northwest of Trieste and about southwest of Gorizia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,611 and an area of .〔All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat.〕 The municipality of Romans d'Isonzo contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Fratta and Versa.
